There is a hole in the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools safety net

This afternoon my 6-year-old daughter was dropped off the bus at her designated bus stop. This would not be unusual except that we were not there to get her. We were at home over 250 yards away down the road and completely out of sight of the bus stop waiting for her to be dropped off. New soon-to-be-well-known resident of Matthews

I had coffee yesterday with the new owner of the Matthews Mint Hill magazine, Paula McDonald. Paula purchased the magazine this past January and moved here from New Port Ritchie, Florida, specifically as a result of buying the magazine.
